LAFD Firehogs Commence Journey to New York
LAFD Fire Hogs at
Los Angeles
WTC Memorial
As Los Angeles Firefighters continue independent and team bicycle journeys across our nation to commemorate the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001; they are joined by the LAFD Fire Hogs, a group of retired and active-duty firefighters, who this morning departed the Los Angeles World Trade Center Memorial by motorcycle enroute to Manhattan.

While we remain with them in spirit, it is not possible for us all to be in New York, Pennsylvania or Washington on the anniversary of that dark day.

We therefore ask you to save the date and plan to join us for a formal ceremony in Los Angeles, commemorating our collective loss and affirming our personal resolve:

Sunday, September 11, 2011
Ceremony: 9:00AM - 10:00AM
Public Reception: Immediately following

1700 Stadium Way, Los Angeles, CA  90012

All are invited and warmly welcomed to attend
this free ritual-filled patriotic event
