As you may recall, the renowned LAFD Gear (formerly Dalmatian's Firehouse) store in Eagle Rock recently closed its doors after more than a decade of selling Los Angeles Fire Department apparel and gift items to the public.
In a final sweep of the warehouse, staff members came across enough inventory to conduct a one-day-only "Everything Must Go!" Parking Lot Sale this Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 9:00AM to 2:00PM in Eagle Rock.

With no warehouse after Tuesday to hold any of these still-popular items, everything must go. Even at stunning prices, every penny will benefit the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen's Fund, so please join us...

That's what they said last time. Are you sure this is the last sale?
Hi Brian,
Wish I could be there, but airfare from Portland wouldn't make it a sale. I was hoping that you message would be that someone was taking over the merchandise to continue the business.
Stay safe,
Mark

Anonymous 8:38,
As mentioned above, we're told this sale came from the complete (and final) sweep of all warehouse and storage space - square footage that will no longer be available. As such, we tend to agree that this Tuesday, *everything* must go. We look forward to seeing you there!

Mark,
Your long-term and loyal support of LAFD and its affiliated organizations is deeply appreciated. Should a non-profit happen to take up the selling of LAFD merchandise, we'll be certain to mention it here on the LAFD News & Information blog.
