Dear Friend of the LAFD,
What do you keep in your car or travel kit?
Is there something you just can't travel without? Is there something you thought you'd need but proved otherwise? Please let us know!
Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,

In my car...
A spare cell phone.
Water (I keep a case on hand)
Trail mix bars.
Dog treats(the first thought on my mind in case of a disaster will be getting to my critter and keeping her with me).
Gloves.
Several hand tools, including a military-type shovel.
Flashlights.
Fire extinguisher.
Jumper Cables.
Rope.
Sleeping bag.
Survial kit (Purchased at a camping suppy store) and a first aid kit.
Sun screen.
Spare hiking boots and socks.
***My at home survial kit is right were it can be gotten to easily, without entering the structure.
