Great job LAFD. One less piece of junk of the road.
Anonymous 10:40,
Thanks for the note.
While we don't profess to know enough about that vehicle before the fire to call it a "piece of junk" (and long ago learned not to judge books by their cover), we're most pleased that no one was hurt.
No matter the age or appearance, all vehicles need periodic inspection and are deserving of expert maintenance to remain safe and reliable.
Our friends at DOT and NHTSA have created safercar.gov to help keep you safe behind the wheel.
Additionally, the NIASE offers a series of free brochures to help you maintain your vehicle in tip-top shape.
Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,
Brian Humphrey
