The LAFD recently received a note from Primitivo Castro of State Senator Jenny Oropeza's Office...

On behalf of Senator Oropeza, I would like to thank each of you for your participation in our Annual Food Drive; this would not have been possible without the support of the various fire departments in the 28th Senate District.

I also wanted to mention that with your assistance the Food Bank of Southern California collected and distributed approximately 21,780 lbs of non-perishable food items from the fire departments in the 28th Senate District.

Thank you once again.

Primitivo Castro
Office of State Senator Jenny Oropeza

The men and women of the LAFD join Senator Oropeza and Ms. Castro in thanking Los Angeles residents for their participation and generosity. -BH-
