EIGHT companies PLUS 3 ambulances plus the others equipment and personnel? Wow.

It was amazing how the car was like a homing missile... speeding from the far side slow lane, all of the way across the highway's four lanes (plus center median), and crashed into RA23, which was in the far right lane. RA23 could not go further right because of the guard rail. You could not reproduce this crash.

Anonymous 4:19,

Thanks for the note. The collision is indeed hard to comprehend for a variety if reasons, not the least of which is how there were not more people killed or injured.

That much offered, our thoughts and prayers remain with the young woman who was driving the sedan.

Regardless of what any of us may surmise at this time, the official LAPD investigation is still under way.

Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,

Wow, what a terrible crash. This should be an eye opener for all to pay attention when you drive and be sure to pull over the side of the road when an ambulance, fire truck etc. come by. It's important for us to give them the right of passage on the roads. I don't know the situation of the woman and what transpired and truly I do hope she heals quickly and is back to normal. But one can't help but wonder if perhaps there was a distraction that caused the accident. I know it is easy for drivers to get distracted by our radios, cell phones, kids in the car, or even being tired. I know I have been guilty myself. Anyhow the good news is that she is alive and there were not more serious injuries.
